PS17 and Q300 are co-hosting a food distribution event between 10am-2pm on Monday, December 13, 2021 and they are looking for volunteers from the school community.
This is a food distribution event (not a food drive), facilitated by an outside organization bringing food into communities for distribution. We are grateful to have this opportunity to assist in making sure our community members receive food. We are in need of 8-10 volunteers to help unload the trucks, set up tables and be on hand to share the food with families.
As this is an outdoors event in the PS 17/Q300 school courtyard, volunteers do not need to be vaccinated. If a volunteer needs to enter a school building, then they will need to show their ID and vaccination card.
