DOE will have the Community Meals sites open during the Winter Recess to provide meals for families. The sites are closed only on Friday, December 25, 2020 (Christmas Day) and Friday, January 1, 2021 (New Year’s Day), but they are open on the other days during the winter break.
The distribution time seem to have changed from 3:00pm-5:00pm to 12:00pm-3:00pm during the winter break. Check the pickup information on the DOE’s School Meals/Community Meals page (https://www.schools.nyc.gov/school-life/food/community-meals) for the latest information.
