- NYC Parks’ free outdoor pools (https://www.nycgovparks.org/highlights/places-to-go/pools): Cool off and enjoy the summer at free outdoor pools in every borough. NYC Parks also offers free learn to swim programs (https://www.nycgovparks.org/programs/aquatics/learn-to-swim) in the summer.
- NYC Parks’ Kids in Motion (https://www.nycgovparks.org/events/kids-in-motion): NYC Parks’ Kids in Motion for children to play in organized sports, various games, and fitness demos.
- Bike New York’s Bike Skills 101 (https://www.bike.nyc/education/programs/learn-to-ride-kids/): Learn to Ride – Kids (opens in new window): A free group class for children age 5 and up learning to ride a two-wheeler for the first time. Kids must bring their own bike and helmet.
- New York Road Runners Youth Programs (https://www.nyrr.org/youth/races-and-events?cat=youth_event#upcoming_event_list): In-person and virtual youth events are designed for every level so young athletes can participate in events that best fit their comfort level.

- NYC DOE Free Summer Meals (https://www.schools.nyc.gov/school-life/food/summer-meals): Available to all people 18 years old and younger in various locations in the city (opens in new window) from 8:00 to 9:15 a.m.for breakfast and 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. for lunch (times are subject to change). No registration, documentation, or ID required.
