The Q300 PTA is pleased to announce that it will again hold a FunRun event this year (https://q300pta.org/FunRun2024). Following our school’s first FunRun in 2021, we have set the FunRun weeks for Friday, May 17, 2024, to Sunday, June 2, 2024. During this time, families are encouraged to get outdoors to run, ride, skate, and engage in physical exercise.

3rd grades
- Title: Q300 PTA Fun Run event for 3rd graders
- Date: Sunday, May 19, 2024
- Time: 2:00pm
- Place: Juniper Valley Park (Juniper Blvd., Lutheran Ave., 71 St, Dry Harbor Rd, Queens, NY 11379)
- Description: 1. Warm-up jog, stretch, running relays, three-legged relays, potato sack relays; 2. Sharks v Minnows; 3. Obstacle course; 4. Bandanna tag; 5. An actual distanced jog/run; 6. Soccer, dribble/egg on spoon; backwards relay; group rope jumping on jumbo size jumping rope.; 7. Snacks, Breakout, Socialising
2nd grades
- Title: Q300 PTA Fun Run event for 2nd graders
- Date: Sunday, June 2, 2024
- Time: 2:00pm-4:00pm
- Place: Juniper Valley Park (Juniper Blvd., Lutheran Ave., 71 St, Dry Harbor Rd, Queens, NY 11379)
- Description: BYO hats, water, sunscreen, bandana. Siblings welcome. Public toilets are nearby. Requesting parents and kids wear a Q300 t-shirt. Good for photo op. No Fun Run-specific t-shirt sales this year.
- Activities: 1. Warm-up jog, stretch, running relays, three-legged relays, potato sack relays; 2. Sharks v Minnows; 3. Obstacle course
Drink Break and Large Group Photo Op; 4. An actual distanced jog/run; 5. Group rope jumping on jumbo size jumping rope. Parents’ participation very, every welcome!; 6. Tug o’ war; Snacks, Breakout, Socialising.
