Q300 PTA is looking for nominations/self-nominations for the following PTA Board and SLT positions for 2024-2025. The election will be held at the virtual General Membership Meeting on Thursday, June 20, 2024. The nominations will be closed on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
- School Leadership Team (SLT) Parent Member Positions: Please consider running for one of two open SLT parent member positions. The SLT is a vehicle for developing school-based educational policies and ensuring that resources are aligned to implement those policies. The SLT assists in the evaluation and assessment of Q300’s educational programs and their effects on student achievement.
- PTA Board Positions: Please consider running for the remaining open seats on the PTA Board.
- Executive Vice President (one position open)
- Vice President-Community Affairs (up to 2 positions open)
- The PTA also calls for candidates to run for the following positions either (i) as a team (e.g., Co-President) with the candidates who were recently elected to those positions or (ii) as a candidate or team separate from the elected candidates.
- Co-President or President
- Co-Vice President of Fundraising or Vice President of Fundraising
- Co-Vice President of Membership or Vice President of Membership

The election will be held at the virtual General Membership Meeting on Thursday, June 20 at 6:30pm. We will send the registration for the virtual meeting in a separate email.
If you are interested in running, please email the Elections Committee chair, Kevin Gallagher (nominations@q300pta.org) with your name and position by Tuesday., June 18. To qualify for these positions, the candidate must be a current parent or legal guardian of a child at Q300. Please note that nominations will also be taken from the floor during the meeting.
