Do you have a passion for promoting literacy and love seeing the joy on children’s faces when they discover a new book? If so, we have a wonderful opportunity for you! We’re on the lookout for 2-3 dedicated individuals to lead and be an integral part of the Book Fair Planning Committee. Get ready, because the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school during the first week of December!
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Book Fair Logistics: Work with the school to finalize book fair dates and details.
- Collaborate with a Scholastic Rep or Store: Schedule planning meetings to go over important fair details and coordinate drop-off and pick-up windows for book deliveries.
- Volunteer Recruitment: Help gather an enthusiastic team of volunteers to assist in running the book fair and making it a memorable event for everyone involved.
- Setting up on Monday, December 2, 2024
- Volunteering from 8:30am to 2:30pm on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 and Wednesday, December 4, 2024
- Closing on Thursday, December 5, 2024

Please note that the separate volunteer sign-ups for day-of roles will be emailed out in early November. Your commitment to the Planning Committee will ensure everything is organized and runs smoothly leading up to the big event!
