The Q300 PTA, in collaboration with Principal Sonita and our Q300 teachers & staff, are excited to announce a two-week spiritwear design competition. Students are invited to design a school T-shirt with the theme “Growing Together”. What does “Growing Together” within the Q300 community mean to you? What do you think of when you hear, “We are growing together”?
Design Parameters:
- Designs must include the words “Q300” and “Growing Together”
- Designs can use one or two colors.
- Designs must be no larger than 10″x10″. (Note: The Q300 Design Committee may resize the winning design to fit various T-Shirt sizes.)
- Designs will be printed on an all-black crew neck T-shirt. Please consider this when choosing colors. However, students may create designs on a white background or on white paper.
- Designs can be hand-drawn or created digitally. Hand-drawn designs must be scanned at 300dpi and submitted as a .png file. If you need help with scanning your design, please bring your artwork to your homeroom teacher.
- Digitally created designs must also be 300dpi and submitted as a .png file.
- Label your digital design file with Student’s Name and Class (e.g. Jane Cho_401.png)
- All submissions must include Student’s Name, Class, and Parent/Guardian’s Email address.
Rules:
- All designs must be original and created by a current student at Q300.
- Designs imitating or including existing branding, copyrighted material or pre-existing art, such as clip art or web art, are not permitted.
- Each student may enter multiple designs but as individual separate submissions.
- All design submissions must be digitally emailed to q300design@q300pta.org by 9pm on Friday, March 27, 2026 to qualify for entry.
Q300 Growing Together Considerations:
- What does “Growing Together” in the Q300 Community mean to you?
- What do you want to inspire in others when they see your design?
- How creative can you get with only one or two colors?
- Consider other logos that you like. Are they just text, an image or both? How do they communicate their message?
