Winter Auction for Summer Fun. Now through March 1st. Does your kid love mythology? Soccer? Gymnastics? Coding? We have several summer camp opportunities related to these themes (as well as a Pennsylvania Farm House rental) that are being auctioned from now until March 1, 2018 on an online link!! All proceeds go to the Q300 PTA and help fund enrichment and other needed items. Anyone can bid, so please share these with friends and family! Annual Zumba-thon with PS 17, Mar. 9th, 5:30 pm at PS 17 campus. Save the date for and get ready to move at our 3rd annual Zumba-thon! There are two ways to sign up. You can create an online platform here to get pledges and share via email and social media: Zumba-thon Sign Up!. Or, if you are old school, you can get paper sheet pledges (to be sent in kids’ backpacks and via google group). And, if you don’t like to dance, you can participate by helping “thon-ers” raise money but sharing their online pledge sheets! Kids can also participate (with parent/guardian there) though it is more geared to adults! Last year, we not only had a blast but we also raised almost $4,000 (split between the schools)! Let’s exceed that goal this year!
New York International Children’s Film Festival, Feb. 23-Mar. 18. The New York International Children’s Film Festival 2018 is just around the corner (February 23 – March 18th) and will be showcasing the best new films for children ages 3-18. The Festival is packed full of fantastic film programs for your family and, even better,our school has entered a program where we earn $3 back for every ticket you purchase!
