Q300 PTA presents a virtual info session “COVID-19 Safety: Vaccines and Kids” at 6:30pm on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, featuring Vijaya Soma, M.D., Attending Physician, Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital.
The CDC has recently recommended the COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 as the FDA has approved emergency use authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for this age group. Since this group can begin receiving shots as early as next week, the Q300 PTA is providing this opportunity for our community to listen and ask questions to Dr. Soma, who will be discussing efficacy and safety of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for young children.
