Early bird rates are $12 for kids and $22 for adults. After Friday, they rates rise to $15 for kids and $25 for adults. You can send a check in an envelope (Labeled PTA: Auction Tickets, with the amount of adult and child tickets needed) or:

The Event

The Q300 PTA cordially invites you and your family to join us on May 15th for the “Stepping Into Summer Dance Party and Silent Auction” at The Chian Federation in Astoria. Dance the afternoon away as our DJ spins family friendly tunes! An array of delicious food will be served so leave Sunday dinner to us! We will also be hosting a silent auction featuring tons of exciting prizes and raffling off fabulous gifts!
All proceeds will go toward providing continuous PTA-funded enrichment programs for our beloved students.

Join us in providing outstanding school-wide enrichment by becoming a Q300 Donor. Starting on March 1, 2016, we have 31 Days to reach our goal of 100% participation by every K, 1st, 2nd, 6th & 7th grade family — but we need your help.

Funds given now to the PTA will support Principal Willard’s goal to implement more enrichment, computers, teaching assistants, books, trips, classroom materials, and fund academic priorities into Fall 2016.

The Event

Please save the date for a fun and fitness-filled evening at the PS 17 campus on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 5:30-7:00pm. We will be co-sponsoring a Zumba-thon with the PS 17 PTA in the PS 17 campus gymnasium to raise money for a few necessary items (new microphone and benches) for the shared auditorium between the Q300 elementary campus and PS 17.

To create your own online pledge site or to DONATE to a Zumba-thon participant, click here! The goal is to raise collective funds for mutual necessities, as well as HAVE FUN! Tanuja Duffy, of Zumba with Tanuja will conduct an hour and half master class to which we all can Zumba.

Details

Please make every effort to have your child present on Picture Day.

Have them dress in Q300 Uniforms. There is no need to bring in gym clothing for gym Friday or Tuesday.
Stomping Ground Photo staff will help make your children feel confident and natural.

Two to three weeks after picture day, you will receive a unique login to view a private gallery on StompingGroundPhoto. Place your order and receive it approximately two weeks after your school’s Order Deadline.

Volunteers

Please reach out to fundraisingq300pta.org if you are able to volunteer to help our children look their best on Picture Day! We’d love to have a few parents help with the coordination as well help tidy up our loved ones for pictures! Also note that volunteers on picture day will receive 15% off their order for helping make our kids look their best! (more…)

Q300 Selected as NYC Junior Ambassadors!

NYC Junior Ambassadors is a new program focused on empowering 7th graders in all five boroughs of New York City to become actively engaged with the United Nations and its mission of addressing the most pressing challenges in the world. By targeting New York City youth at a critical time in their personal and intellectual growth, NYC Junior Ambassadors seeks to help them understand the real connections between themselves, the City of New York, and international affairs

Q300 class 701 is part of the inaugural cohort of NYC Junior Ambassadors!
(73 classrooms applied, 11 were selected, 3 of those selected were in Queens)
